The GroWQ Ag Innovation Expo focuses on showcasing practical innovations tailored to Western Queensland, with a strong emphasis on improving productivity and profitability for producers.
The expo combines a property tour and innovation expo, providing participants multiple opportunities to learn, ask questions, engage with expert panels, connect with industry leaders, visit a range of trade displays and see innovation applied directly in the paddock.


Queensland's Premiere Regional Innovation & Technology Event
The Innovation Expo provides an ideal meeting place for passionate producers, leading innovators, students and industry stakeholders, to explore the future of Australian agriculture
Over the past four years, the event has grown significantly, with 250 people travelling to Longreach for the 2025 Expo.
As one of Queensland’s major regional innovation and technology events, the 2026 GroWQ Ag Innovation Expo is expected to be even bigger.

Property Tour - Wednesday 29 July 2026
Head to local properties and see innovation in action, with a unique opportunity to experience new agricultural practices and technologies firsthand in Western Queensland. This will be a self drive tour.
GroWQ Innovation Expo - Thursday 30 July 2026
A full day exploring the latest agricultural innovations, featuring expert speakers, industry panels and more than 35 trade displays.
Future Producers - Thursday 30 July 2026
A forum dedicated to the next generation of producers, offering inspiration, practical knowledge and valuable industry connections.
Industry Dinner - Thursday 30 July 2026
An informal evening to strengthen connections, discuss industry challenges and opportunities, and unwind after an invigorating day of learning.

New in 2026
Future Producers Forum
The program this year will also include the Future Producers Forum, a dedicated initiative designed to support the next generation of producers. The forum will bring together young people entering agriculture to hear from inspiring speakers, gain practical insights and build valuable industry connections.


Kids to Farm
The 2026 program is also set to feature Kids to Farm, interactive activities for primary school students, along with universities showcasing career pathways in agriculture.
