GroWQ is a collaborative not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering the development of the food and agribusiness sector in the vast and remote landscapes Western Queensland. Our primary mission is to promote sustainable economic growth and regional prosperity by enhancing innovation, knowledge transfer, and capacity building across five key pillars:

 

1. Business & Industry Collaboration and Events: We facilitate collaboration and host events that bring together various players in the agricultural supply chain.

2. Agricultural Research Development, Agtech, and Data: We support research and technological advancements to drive agriculture's development.

3. Education and Training through Knowledge Transfer: We empower individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the agricultural industry.

4. Value Addition: We encourage practices that add value to agricultural products and processes.

5. Infrastructure: We focus on strengthening the essential infrastructure required for the agribusiness sector's growth.

 

Our organization actively engages with all participants in the agricultural supply chain, from hardworking producers to enthusiastic retailers. We strive to create avenues for business expansion through effective communication, partnerships, and educational opportunities. GroWQ takes pride in hosting networking events, promoting information exchange, and nurturing strong relationships with partners. We celebrate the achievements of our members and collaborators while advocating for increased investment in and the sustainable development of agriculture and agribusiness in the Western Queensland.
