In 2024, GroWQ successfully delivered subsidised Rural First Aid Training across 10 locations, ensuring life-saving skills were accessible to those living in remote and rural areas.

 

With courses held on properties in Longreach, Aramac, Barcaldine, Tambo, Winton, Yaraka, Blackall, Isisford, and Muttaburra districts, over 175 participants gained formal accreditation, while an additional 95 people benefited from practical first aid tips tailored to the unique challenges of outback living.

 

This program has had a lasting impact on community safety, equipping individuals with essential knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies.
